With broadband access and video headend solutions we pave the way towards a new, more interactive world of media. We do this by making future TV quality and data transfer rates available today. In Video Surveillance our aim is to help in improving the safety and efficiency of society.

Our Video Headend Platforms business delivers products and solutions for digital video processing and distribution applications. The business unit is facing a huge market opportunity as the TV and internet industries are converging and end-users can receive video, voice and data from the same connection. We at Teleste provide operators with Hybrid TV solutions for cable TV, and IP TV and for smooth transitioning to the new IP world. Our new hybrid TV solution demonstrates how the benefits of traditional broadcast TV and IP technology are brought together by combining the best of IPTV and Cable-TV. The solution includes Teleste MyCast middleware and Teleste Luminato headend – both are native Hybrid TV products designed to support the solution from the drawing board. Teleste MyCast enables service-creation related functions for managing and distributing live TV channels and providing state-of-the-art value added services in broadband networks. Teleste Luminato is a cutting-edge headend platform that can combine both IP streaming and digital cable TV modulation, enabling very efficient service delivery. Thus, together with the Teleste MyCast video service platform, Teleste Luminato forms a complete solution for an operator in need of a future-proofed headend with hybrid TV and IPTV functionalities.

In the area of Video Surveillance we deliver world-class video network solutions mainly to public authorities for road, rail and security applications. We offer end-to-end solutions for processing, transmission and management of video, data and audio. The surveillance market is undergoing a major change as technology is moving towards IP, which in essence means that monitoring can be efficiently centralised while low-cost IP equipment is making remote monitoring and surveillance more popular. In addition to IP, there is a growing trend to integrate video surveillance systems with other sub-systems, such as traffic management systems, alarm & crisis management systems etc. By creating better and more valuable product solutions and services for our customers in TV-quality real time video, audio and data transmission, networking and recording, Teleste has been steadily building its global potential with ongoing international larger scale projects for both public and private sectors. As a matter of fact, one of our fields of special expertise is the integration of large, networked video surveillance systems, consisting of several hundreds or thousands of cameras, into one unified system. Our most important applications are traffic management and monitoring systems for road and rail transport, city center and urban surveillance systems and corporate security applications.

But in fact we are active in all continents. Especially our Video Surveillance Networks business has a presence in all the major geographical markets: Europe, North-America and Southeast Asia with our own local offices. The end-users are typically reached through channel partners.
