We are delighted to announce that Teleste has been added to the Cable & Satellite International 2011 Product of the Year Award's shortlist. Our new AC9000 intelligent fibre optic node is among the finalists for the "Best cable or fibre contribution/distribution/transmission solution” award. The final results of the 2011 awards will be announced at IBC2011, Friday, September 9th at the RAI Convention Centre in Amsterdam.

 

AC9000 fibre optic node is the latest addition to Teleste’s intelligent HFC products. It provides reliable performance and easy alignment, as well as eliminates human errors from network installations through automatic configuration. The fire-and-forget installation of the new AC9000 helps operators to reduce operating expenses, avoid service outages, and provide better service to end-users. In addition, the AC9000 automatically recognises and isolates ingress problems with the help of a built-in

ingress analyser.
