ANGA Cable Show, Europe’s leading Trade Fair and Congress for Cable, Broadband and Satellite, takes place in Cologne from 4th to 6th May 2010. The fully booked exhibition hall gathers together 390 exhibitors from 30 countries – last year, the event attracted more than 13,600 visitors.

At our stand, the industry’s most versatile headend platform, Teleste Luminato, will be presented in all of its glory. You will see various solutions suitable for small headend installations, centralized service acquisition and local distribution to cable network in theDVB-C, DVB-T, IP and hybrid DVB-C +IP formats. Advanced Luminato redundancy features will also demonstrate how to guarantee services in all situations.

Further, we will show how advanced features like VoD can be brought to a conventional DVB-C network and use mobile phones and PC for ordering content. More of interactive features will be showcased by the Teleste MyCast IPTV middleware, which introduces a new service for managing recordings via an intuitive web interface, allowing the TV viewer to be away from his TV set when planning recordings.

Networks must evolve

This year we are bringing larger than ever HFC product range on display. The range covers new innovations all the way from optical headend to RFoG nodes. The industry's most intelligent nodes and amplifiers can also be seen at our booth - alive and connected to brand new release of our element management system.

The outstanding performance of coaxial cabling still keeps surprising us every day, its limits have not been reached yet. This year we showcase the EttH IRS product portfolio that helps operators to bring broadband connections to places that have been regarded as impossible to reach cost-effectively.
