The Video Networks business unit delivers world-class video network
solutions, with governments and the public sector representing the primary
clientele. We are responding to the remarkable horizontal growth in the
security and surveillance market with advanced products and solutions to
meet the most demanding requirements set by customers. A clear advantage
in Teleste’s solutions is the synergy created by the expertise in
broadband cable combined with a strong display in video networks.
There is a growing trend to integrate video surveillance systems with
other sub-systems, such as traffic management systems, alarm & crisis
management systems etc. By creating better and more valuable product
solutions and services for our customers in TV quality real time video,
audio and data transmission, networking and recording, Teleste has been
steadily accomplishing global potential with ongoing international larger
scale projects for both public and private sectors. These can be broken
down into three key areas: Intelligent Traffic Systems, City Centre
Monitoring and High-End Security. With public authorities as the main
end-user group, the most important applications are traffic management and
monitoring systems for road and rail transport, city center and urban
surveillance systems and corporate security applications.
Teleste draws upon a unique combination of competencies from the field
of image processing and extensive application knowledge of CCTV systems to
create value-added security solutions for our customers who use fibre
optics and, increasingly, digital and IP networks. All our solutions are
custom fitted to ensure the best return on investment. As Legacy CCTV
systems are now initiating the technology shift towards digital and IP
networks, Teleste Video Networks aims to be at the forefront of the
developments. With all the various technologies required for legacy,
hybrid and new CCTV systems at its disposal, we are able to ensure smooth
migration and system integration for our customers. As a matter of fact,
one of our fields of special expertise is the integration of large
networked video surveillance systems consisting of several hundreds or
thousands of cameras into one unified system.
Video Networks has a presence in all the major geographical markets:
Europe, North-America and Southeast Asia with our own local offices. The
end-users are typically reached through channel partners.
