Video Networks
The Video Networks business unit delivers world-class video network
solutions, with governments and the public sector representing the
primary clientele. We are responding to the horizontal growth in the
security and surveillance market with advanced products and
solutions to meet the most demanding requirements set by customers
needed in different branches of CCTV applications.
Products and Solutions
Our products use a unique combination of competencies from the field
of image processing, signal transmission and IP networking. We are
therefore able to provide the best solutions for the transmission of
visual information over a variety of media. Whilst optical fibre
systems are mainly used for “zero delay” for a confidential
transport of tv quality lossless video channels, more and more
applications benefit from the increasing possibilities that our IP
network systems can offer. Latest video compression technologies are
used to maintain high video performance without compromising the
network bandwidth. Software packages emulate matrix switches and
sequencers, and take consideration of different levels of user
rights and arbitration. We integrate with any other type of
application, including recording or incident management. All our
networking solutions are completely standards-based and interoperable
with most of the complementary commercial-off-the-shelf technology.
