ACcess – New Generation of Optical Nodes and Broadband Amplifiers

The Access is a product series consisting of compact nodes and amplifiers. The basic design of the Access platform determines not only its capability and its ease of use but also its ability to expand as new needs arise. Changes in the networks are inevitable, but now there is a way to make them easier, faster and far less expensive. Access platforms are available in wide range of models from an optical node to a distribution amplifier.

Access node platforms are based on our long experience and know-how in broadband amplifiers and fibre optics. The platform allows the use of redundant optical links in both directions. The node is based on a compact platform but with highly modular solutions.

Access amplifier platforms are simple and compact without any extras. At the same time, the design is very versatile and scalable. Several active and passive plug-in modules can be used to customize the amplifier modules to carry out more sophisticated solutions like a two-way optical node. Trend toward fibre rich architecture is fully supported in the Access amplifier platform.

AC500 Amplifier Platform Single active output amplifier with 39 dB of gain.
AC1000 Amplifier & Optical Node Platform Single active output amplifier with 29 dB or 39 dB of platforms. Both platforms can be used normally as an amplifier, but also as an optical node.
AC2000 Amplifier Platform Dual active output amplifier with 2 x 39 dB of gain.
AC3000 Amplifier Platform Single active output amplifier with extended frequency and gain ranges and integrated electrical controls in both up- and downstream.
AC3200 Amplifier Platform An amplifier with extended frequency and gain ranges and integrated electrical controls in both up- and downstream. It provides two active outputs with individual signal controls.
AC800 G Fibre Optic Node Optical node, 1006 MHz, single active output. It is based on fixed receiver concept but new features can be added by flexible modular solutions.
AC800 Fibre Optic Node Optical node, 862 MHz, single active output node. It is based on fixed receiver concept but new features can be added by flexible modular solutions.
AC8000 Fibre Optic Platform Dual active output node. It is based on fixed platform but new features can be added by flexible modular solutions.
AC8800 Intelligent Fibre Optic Platform This dual active output node features automatic alignment of both forward and return path. Along its simplicity and enviable performance, the easy operation stands out as its key advantage.
