Management Infrastructure

The basic operation of a HFCinfrastructure management system is very simple. The management applicfation communicates with all manageable inside plant network elements via the management LAN/WAN, and with the outside plant transponders via the LAN/WAN and the HFC inband communications channel.

Controller Module, Ethernet Interface HDC100 HDC100 is a controller module for the HDO platform. This unit enables a gateway ethernet connection to a HDO system and allows remote management with CATVisor EMS. Management Modem HDM100 HDM100 communicates with HFC network transponders via its RF modem, maintains a list of transponder statuses, manages the data link and provides connectivity between element/network management system and transponders. Transponder module AC6911 Element Management Transponder for the AC platform.
