Optical Passives

Optical passives are very important part of the total FTTH-solution. Fibre cable itself is of no use, if there is not proper equipment for terminate, split and cross-connect fibres. For terminating and cross connecting the fibres we have a choise of ODFs, Patch cords, pig tails and housings for termination. At the RF - overlay the optical splitters have an important role, as after each EDFA (Erbium Doped Fibre Amplifier) the optical power is divided to plenty of subscribers.
