Access Network Solutions

 

Our Access Networks business provide operators with products and solutions to build Hybrid Fibre-Coaxial (HFC) Networks and Next Generation Access Networks.

 

The Hybrid Fibre-Coaxial (HFC) Network solutions, including Deep Fibre applications, offer hardware and software for cable operators to build combined fibre-optic and coax cable TV networks, as well as services related to the construction and maintenance thereof. These solutions contain both stand-alone applications and integrated turnkey network deliveries. With our HFC technology, Teleste is the leading supplier in Europe in terms of market share and know-how.
The clientele of HFC Networks business consists of cable operators and distributors who provide network equipment for cable operators. The cable operators, in turn, provide their end-users with three main basic services: TV channels, telephone connections and broadband data communication services.

 

In combination with cable networks, we deliver advanced network solutions Broadband Access for Next Generation Network operators, allowing these operators to deliver high speeds to their customers over existing coax infrastructures or new fibre-rich networks. The relevant architectures include FttH (Fiber to the Home). From the end-user’s perspective, the most critical requirement for the majority of applications involves real-time transfer of video signal, which is highly sensitive to interference and capacity restraints. Typical customers include cable operators, Multi Service Operators (MSO), city carriers, utilities, hospitality integrators and smaller telcos.

 

Our main market area is Europe, where the business unit currently maintains 17 offices in addition to a number of sales partners.
