Fibre Optic Video Modems

Nearly two decades the traditional fibre optics operation has been the core technology in many security video systems. With a successfull background in this field Teleste continues the tradition by it´s well-know CFO product range. The name may have a long history, but the design is far from being an old-fashioned.

Today the fully re-designed CFO platform is ready to challenge any modern system requirement in the class of uncompressed realtime video transmission. Utilising the most appropriate technologies for each type of service required, the single product approach enables very cost effective solutions for video, audio, data, contact closure and even Ethernet signal optical transmission.

The popular Ethernet communication can be now easily included in CFO installations by selecting video modems with built-in Fast Ethernet Bridge. For more complex Ethernet communication requirements the portfolio also includes true Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet Switches with a wide selection of optional SFP optics for uplink operation.

The latest additions in the CFO family are the 4 and 8 channel video modems designed to use standard SFP optics. Depending on the fibre link requirements suitable optics can be easily selected. In case there are future changes on the cabling conditions the SFP model can be easily changed on fly.
