VMX Video Recording
VMX NVR is a recorder component for Teleste video system. It is responsible for recording audio and video streams. e module records video in an uninterruptible loop mode, to a local hard drive, ensuring that all critical events are recorded even before the system operator is able to react to them. e most suitable chassis for the NVR is the 2U rack mount version, which has built-in redundant power supply. It also supports built-in storage for up to 3 HDDs which translates into 2TB in RAID5 mode. For larger storage requirements the 2U chassis can be equipped with a SCSI interface to accommodate a selection of RAID matrices. For moderate storage needs there are alternative rack mount versions hosting up to 8HDDs.
VMX Storage is an external storage component of Teleste video system. e unit is SATA RAID matrix featuring reliable SCSI host interfaces and large, cost eff ective SATA disk drives. VMX Storage unit can be attached to any VMX system component with storage capabilities and support for An SCSI interface. e Storage component can be delivered as 4, 8, 12, 16 or 24 bay HDD matrix and equipped with hard drives of selected capacity. Different version of RAID technologies as well as hot stand-by disks are supported. Storage unit can be optionally equipped with battery a backup unit. Also slide rail assembly can be selected as an installation option.
