Intersec 2016 offered all that is needed in security, safety and fire protection. This year, the event highlighted new developments in the fields of Smart home, safety design in buildings, and physical and perimeter security.
Introducing a new high-capacity video recording platform
At Intersec 2016, we introduced a high-capacity and high-density video recording platform to our S-VMX video management system.
The new platform multiplies data storage capacity in a cost-efficient and flexible manner as it offers 5 times better density than standard models. As an example, a 3U chassis can process and record 800 Full HD video streams!
S-VMX mobility platform for video surveillance on the move
Nowadays, the videosurveillance technologies cannot stay confined in the operation centers, but have to be available everywhere on the move. With the S-VMX mobility platform the emergency and security forces can now have a reliable tool to access the video information in real time, and they can also feed the operation centers with live images when and where needed.
Due to the advanced cyber security and encryption, the solution guarantees that tablets, phones and laptops can securely connect to the central video management system using a fully built-in secured connection over public or private networks.
Towards smart city security
To provide public authorities with an easy and efficient evolution path to a smart city security, Teleste has developed IP video management system, the S-VMX, that seamlessly connects different security sub-systems and applications, including situation and event management, Video Content Analytics and legacy systems to name but a few.
We demonstrated the S-VMX with the Command&CaptureTM technology that enables effective control of the overall management system, and showcased the new information pillar with an integrated camera from our daughter company Mitron.
