When upgrading your network, make sure that you are still the customers’ number one choice

Our theme for ANGA COM 2018 was network transformation and how operators can be prepared for the challenges that will come along future technology migrations.

High-capacity network infrastructures form the basis of the gigabit society — and the consumers today expect for nothing less than the highest level of connectivity of their service provider. However, as an operator, you may find it difficult to choose the right technology path that will keep you on top of the increasingly competitive industry.

At ANGA COM 2018, we highlighted our pragmatic tools for implementing the next generation broadband technologies and services. In addition to first-class products, we also provided you with the right implementation to help you transform your network.

Products, launches and demos at our stand

We put on display our wide selection of products, launches and demos for:

  • Distributed access networks with the newly launched DAN300 Remote PHY device. For more information about the product, please visit here.
  • Preventive network maintenance
  • Headend optics
  • Traditional HFC networks with 1.2 GHz fibre nodes, amplifiers and passives
  • Passives & Indoors products
  • Advanced network planning and services
  • Intelligent network management systems

In addition, we showcased our Luminato headend and its capabilities as a video engine in distributed access networks. Besides supporting simultaneous broadcasting and IP video delivery, the Luminato does L2TP encapsulation, and can help operators implement distributed access smoothly in their networks while maintaining the highest level of distribution reliability.

New white paper available!

The Remote PHY-based distributed architecture is a tempting alternative to take a quantum leap to networks with substantially higher capacity. In our new white paper we dig deeper into what shifting to Remote PHY networks means from the point of view of video delivery.

Which options exist for operators - with their pros and cons - to deliver smooth and undisturbed services during the network transformation?

At ANGA COM 2018 Conference

On June 13, you had an opportunity to attend the technology discussion DOCSIS® 3.1 - New network options, where VP Arttu Purmonen presented insights on the Challenges of Video Delivery in a Distributed Architecture. You can still check out the detailed ANGA COM 2018 conference agenda here.
