Teleste’s ACE8 has been shortlisted for CSI Awards 2014 in the category of Best cable or fibre contribution/distribution/transmission solution. In addition to Teleste, there are products from 3 other manufacturers shortlisted in this category. These include Harmonic, MultiDyne and Net Insight.
The Teleste ACE8 is the first node on the market that fully meets the requirements for DOCSIS 3.1 and DVB-C2. Designed for flexible, future-proof network installations, this one active output node offers service providers cost-efficient access to high transmission capacity. With the downstream frequency band reaching up to 1.2 GHz and the upstream band being easily updated to 200 MHz, the node ensures that future bandwidth needs will be met in deep fibre solutions.
The winners of the CSI Awards 2014 will be announced on Friday 12 September 2014 at IBC Conference, Amsterdam. The CSI Awards are designed to reward technical and product marketing excellence in the cable, satellite, terrestrial broadcasting, mobile and IPTV sectors. They are judged independently of CSI by a panel of experts, and attract over 150 entries every year, gathering acknowledgment from the industry's leading technology suppliers.
