By ticking the box “I have read and I accept the Privacy Statement and Data Protection Description” you give your explicit consent for Teleste to collect and process the provided personal data for the purposes defined in this Privacy Statement and/or Data Protection Description and you expressly represent and warrant that the information you provide to Teleste Corporation and its subsidiaries (“Teleste”) is correct to your best knowledge and that you have the right to disclose such information to Teleste to be used in connection with Teleste's recruitment related activities in a manner and for the purposes outlined in this Privacy Statement and/or Data Protection Description.

You acknowledge having familiarized yourself with this Privacy Statement and Data Protection Description including also information on your rights and you give your consent to Teleste to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data of the type and for the limited purposes described in this Privacy Statement and Data Protection Description.

Teleste collects your personal data for the purposes of managing Teleste's recruitment related activities as well as for organizational planning purposes globally. Consequently, Teleste may use your personal data in relation to the evaluation and selection of applicants including for example setting up and conducting interviews and tests, evaluating and assessing the results thereto and as is otherwise needed in the recruitment processes including the final recruitment.

Teleste does not disclose your personal data to unauthorized third parties. Due to technical and practical requirements of processing, some personal data may be located at servers of Teleste’s subcontractors or processed by Teleste’s subcontractors. However, as a global corporation consisting of multiple companies in various countries, Teleste has international sites and may use resources located throughout the world. Teleste may from time to time also use third parties to act on Teleste's behalf. You agree to the fact that to the extent necessary your personal data may be transferred and/or disclosed to any company within Teleste group of companies as well as to third parties acting on Teleste's behalf, including also transfers to servers and databases outside the country where you provided Teleste with your personal data, provided that such countries have, according to the European Union, adequate data protection level, or provided that Teleste provides appropriate safeguards and that enforceable data subject rights and effective legal remedies for data subjects are available. Such transfers may include for example transfers and/or disclosures outside the European Economic Area and in the United States of America. When carrying out the aforementioned data transfers and/or disclosures, Teleste follows the principles set out in the General Data Protection Regulation and other applicable personal data legislation to enable the protection of your personal data. Teleste may use e.g. standard data protection clauses adopted by the European Commission to enable adequate protection.

Subject to applicable laws, Teleste may collect your personal data from public sources such as the Internet and process it for the purposes described in this Privacy Statement and Data Protection Description.

The personal data you provide under this application site will be stored, except where otherwise provided by law, only for the duration necessary for the defined purposes in this Privacy Statement and Data Protection Description. Teleste has the right to rectify or erase any incorrect or outdated personal data at its discretion.

The personal data you provide will be deleted upon expiry of 18 months from their submission if the personal data is not in use in relation to the evaluation and selection of applicants for an open position.

Finally, you acknowledge that Teleste is under no obligation to employ you for any vacancy you have applied for. Your possible employment with Teleste is always subject to a separate written agreement between you and the applicable Teleste company.

Please note that Teleste does not need any personal identification numbers (e.g. social security number) in order to identify the candidates. Therefore it is recommended that you do not include this information in your candidate profile/CV.

Education data: degree level, degree title, educational establishment, orientation/main subject, year of graduation (or estimate), additional information, primary degree

Other completed training data: programme name, programme provider, year of completion, duration

Employment data: available as of, company/employer, position /job title, start of employment (d.m.yyyy), end of employment (d.m.yyyy)

Other features data: hobbies, positions of trust, special competences, references, salary expectation (€), CV, cover letter, information applicant attach to the application.

THE RECIPIENTS OF THE PERSONAL DATA

Relevant persons from Teleste Human Resources, recruiting manager and other relevant employees of Teleste, as applicable, as well as relevant professional advisors and subcontractors of Teleste.

REGULAR DISCLOSURES OF DATA AND TRANSFER OF DATA TO COUNTRIES OUTSIDE EU/EEA

Personal data will be disclosed to authorities when the law requires it.

Teleste Corporation’s HR system supplier may process personal data by itself and/or by using other service providers in order to provide and implement the HR system, as agreed with Teleste Corporation.

Personal data is stored within EU. Security services and service monitoring may be delivered from US under the US-EU Privacy Shield agreement. Such locations may be changed from time to time as allowed by the applicable law.

Personal data may be processed  by or for Teleste also in other countries outside EU/EEA, provided that such countries have, according to the European Union, adequate data protection level, or provided that Teleste provides appropriate safeguards and that enforceable data subject rights and effective legal remedies for data subjects are available.

THE RETENTION PERIOD OF PERSONAL DATA

If there is an error in the registered data the data subject may file a request for rectification from the person mentioned under “THE ADMINISTRATOR OF REGISTRY” above. Every data subject has also the right to demand erasing, restriction or to object on processing data.

OTHER RIGHTS RELATED TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

Data subject has a right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if data subject considers that the processing of personal data relating to him or her infringes the regulation.

Data subjects have the right to withdraw the consent by contacting the administrator.

Teleste will not use processing or profiling based on automated decision making.

Data is protected by technical and organizational measures against accidental and/or unlawful access, alteration, destruction or other processing including unauthorized disclosure and transfer of data.
