TELESTE CONTINUES CABLE-TV NETWORK EQUIPMENT DELIVERIES TO FINNISH ELISA
Finnish telecom operator Elisa Corporation continues having Teleste as its main
supplier of cable-TV -products. Elisa and Teleste have signed a one year
contract concerning product deliveries for both new build and upgrade of
existing cable networks.
The national cable television network of Elisa includes some 236 000 households.
The contract value is approximately one million euros.
Teleste is an international technology group founded in 1954, which is
specialized in broadband data communication systems and solutions. The group is
divided into two Strategic Business Units: Broadband Cable Networks and Video
Networks. Broadband Cable Networks serves cable operators and a major part of
its business activities are handled through direct customer contact. Video
