Video management system (VMS)
The core of video management system is Teleste’s IP video management software, S-VMX. The S-VMX provides a smart and scalable solution for control, processing, viewing, distribution and recording of signals required in video management applications. The system can integrate unlimited fixed and on-board VMS systems into single system.
Supporting remote connectivity, the video management system allows connection by any authorize users, and enables functions such as access to the on-board recording system and live camera feeds, and video search per criteria (GPS position/ vehicle ID/ NVR ID/ alarm tags/etc.). - all with 24/7 operation.
The system also features a wide range of video content analytics applications such as face recognition and automated number plate recognition that further increase safety of operations and passengers. When action takes place, the advanced event management system takes care of alerting your personnel and collecting evidential information. Data storage is built on easy-to-manage hard drive solution that can maintain audio-visual information about routes, schedules, announcements and videos.
Passenger Information System (PIS)
Teleste offers advanced passenger information system that is controlled and managed with PIS manager software. The station PIS manager distributes PIS information in the stations as well as provides up-to-date passenger information to the on-board PIS system.
The PIS manager has interfaces with various internal and external subsystems, such as time table database and dispatcher operator, which create the basis for the PIS information. It can also create text-to-speech (TTS) audio announcements to public address system from text information. In addition, time table information can be updated using e.g. train detection sensors.
The latest display technology from LED to TFT and LCD guarantees excellent visibility, service-free and vandal-proof design for both indoor and outdoor displays. The user interfaces are simple, intuitive, and end-user-friendly.
Ticketing management: Supporting dynamic pricing as well as paper and digital tickets, efficient ticket management systems guarantee reliable ticket reservation and sales both online and at the stations.
Access control: Scalable, multi-site access control system helps you increase security at your premises by e.g. automatic fare collecting and passenger entrance control. The system can also obtain information from other sub-systems such as VSM.
Emergency alarm system: The emergency alarm system is used to provide actual information for the passengers and the public at the station via displays and announcements. Emergency alerts can be activated e.g via passenger help points which provide services and information to the passengers when they are in need of assistance.
Facility and building management: Being able to utilize information from other sub-systems such as VMS, the facility and building management system helps you maintain and coordinate physical station infrastructure and space.
