A major utility company in Austria selects Teleste’s amplifiers for a network upgrade

A MAJOR UTILITY COMPANY IN AUSTRIA SELECTS TELESTE’S AMPLIFIERS FOR A NETWORK UPGRADE
Teleste will deliver intelligent, DOCSIS 3.1-capable ampliers to a major utility company in Salzburg, Austria. The project is coordinated by Witke, Teleste’s partner in Austria, together with Triax Austria GmbH. The total value of the deployment is more than EUR 3 million.
Currently, the company offers its cable TV subscribers over 150 free TV channels, including 41 HD channels, regional TV and panorama channels, selected premium channels, and online video libraries. The now opted HFC network upgrade will be carried out to ensure the company’s future capabilities in meeting subscribers’ requirements for new, attractive services and greater bandwidth. Starting in 2018, the deliveries will be carried out over a period of five years.
