TELESTE TO UPGRADE AND EXPAND THE PARIS POLICE VIDEO SECURITY SYSTEM

Teleste has received an order to deliver its S-VMX video security solution to upgrade and expand the video security system for the Paris police, Préfecture de Police.

The value of the order combined with the order received for the same project a few weeks ago is about 2.5 million euros and the deliverables compose of hardware, software and services including its very efficient recording platform. The delivery is planned to take place mainly in the second half of 2016 and it represents a new phase of the services provided by Teleste to Préfecture de Police and the IRIS consortium, which is the contractual partner operating the Public Private Partnership for the system until 2026.

Teleste’s video security system which was used, among others, for the UEFA EURO 2016 football championships, will include full HD security and is planned to expand to several tens of thousands cameras in the Paris region, including the integration of the Paris metro system, RATP, and the French National railways, SNCF. In addition, Teleste’s video security system will interconnect and federate multiple existing third party security systems under its umbrella.
