OX3 Node
OX3 is a compact 1.2 GHz optical node for deep fiber networks. It uses WDM to separate the downstream from the CWDM upstream wavelengths. The downstream has Optical Level Control (OLC) and a high-performance RF output stage but maintains low power consumption. The optical receiver/transmitter solution is integrated. Different split options are possible with the OX3K kits. The OX3 can be powered locally or remotely either via a dedicated F connector at the PSU, or via RF Out ports.
Features at a glance:
- Built-in WDM, 2 wavelengths in a single fiber (S1-S3)
- Also available in a dual fiber solution (S4)
- Selectable burst mode (RFoG)
- Downstream 1550 nm (S1) and 1310 nm (S2) models available
- Upstream CWDM fixed on board
- 1 x (CXM1) or 2 x outputs (CXM4)
- 1218 MHz downstream and 204 MHz upstream
- Diplexer & filter kit to define the split
